Hi, my name is Sunghyun, but you can call me Sung! I am an animator specializing in character and FX animation based in New York. I am originally from Seoul, Korea and currently study animation at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Ever since I watched the animated series Fooly Cooly (FLCL) at the age of 20, I was inspired to tradition from a background in engineering to pursue a career in animation. Shows such as FLCL or any other Japanese Sakuga-style animation greatly influence my work. I aspire to become a ket animator for music videos, TV and feature films. I want to be a part of projects that project beautifully rendered shots on the big screen. Outside of animation, my passions lie in composing music and fashion!
